Pumpkin Hollow is $10 per person, plus your $5 Farmstead admission. Children 2 and younger are free. Open 9-5 daily through October 31.
While at Deanna Rose, enjoy other favorites including the fun playgrounds, seeing a wide array of animals and flowers. Don’t miss the beautiful nature trail, butterfly garden and koi pond. We also love paying a little extra to bottle feed the baby goats, go fishing and take a pony ride. Pack a picnic and enjoy lunch on one of the public picnic tables.
Deanna Rose is the perfect size and place for young ones. When I have friends with kids visiting Kansas City, Deanna Rose Children’s Farmstead is always a must. There is so much to do but it’s also stroller-friendly and small enough that little legs can enjoy it all!
And this fall, don’t miss Night of the Living Farm, open 4 nights (two weekends) October 20 & 21, 27 & 28. It is the perfect non-scary, fun-filled family evening (5:30-9:30 p.m.) that includes a scavenger hunt, hay rides, a mad scientist and more. It’s $15 per person.
